    We meet every month on the second Saturday from 9:00am-11:00am.

    This Saturday, July 10th, we’re meeting at a private home for a more intimate setting as we hear from new Colorado GOP Chair, Kristi Burton Brown.

    You’ll hear her speak about current Colorado issues, like redistricting, and her plan to transform Colorado from blue to red.
    She’ll also answer your questions.

    Kristi Burton Brown is the Chair of the Colorado Republican Party, a constitutional attorney, and a policy analyst. She helped to negotiate Sen. Tim Neville’s Free Speech on Campus bill and has testified for legislation in multiple states on behalf of the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the research and education arm of the Susan B. Anthony List. She is the author of “Do Justice: Practical Ways to Engage Our World,” and a wife and mother of two kids.

    Priscilla Rahn

    Priscilla Rahn is the Vice Chairman of the Colorado Republican Party, an educator, small business entrepreneur and Douglas County Planning Commissioner.  Her father served in the army and is a Vietnam War Veteran and her mother is an immigrant from Seoul, S. Korea and Korean Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame inductee.  Priscilla grew up in the United States and Korea and is multi-lingual.  She graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in Music Education and became Colorado’s first National Board-Certified teacher in Early Adolescent/Young Adult music an elite distinction held by less than 1% of Colorado’s teachers.  Priscilla also worked as a principal in Alaska and Colorado.  She is the 2020 Harriet Tubman “Moses” Teacher Leader of the Year recipient from The EduCtr and bestowed an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from the Aspen Theological Seminary.

    Priscilla is a volunteer pianist at her church, wife and bonus mom to one son.

    Richard Elsner

    CRC Treasurer Richard Elsner is a fourth generation Coloradan with his family first arriving in 1873.  He made his home Park County in 1978 after growing up in Arapahoe County.

    Richard has served in many areas of the GOP.  He was the Park County Chairman for 8 years and has also served as the 6th Congressional District Secretary,  2nd Congressional District Secretary/Treasurer, member of the State Executive Committee, as well as the State Audit Chairman for 4 years.

    After many years of IT experience in database design and data analytics, Richard is currently serving as a County Commissioner for Park County, having been elected to that post in 2016. Richard has been married to his wife Debbie for 43 years and has two sons and one daughter.


    Vera Ortegon

    RNC National Committeewoman

    Colorado GOP National Committeewoman Vera Ortegon is a longtime leader in the Colorado Republican Party. In 2014, Mike Kopp, GOP Colorado gubernatorial candidate, chose her as his Lieutenant Governor candidate. In 2012, she was one of the nine GOP Presidential Electors for the State of Colorado.

    Vera is also a former Pueblo City Councilwoman, a business owner for the last 35 years, very involved in Colorado water issues for over two decades, and precinct chair for the past 20 years. She was born and raised in Colombia, South America, legally immigrated to the United States, and she was Naturalized in 1977.

    She graduated with a degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from Rutgers University. Vera has been married for 40 years to Dr. Anthony Ortegon, and they have two sons, two great daughters-in-law and two adorable grandchildren.

    Randy Corporon
    RNC National Committeeman

    Randy Corporon is a native of Denver, Colorado with an unusual journey. He dropped out of high school at 15 and never went back, left his family home in suburban Chicago in 1977 at the age of 17 to return to Colorado to attend Denver Automotive and Diesel College, and has been back “home” ever since.

    After owning several businesses and working in different industries, Randy graduated in 1998 from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree and a personally coveted AmJur Award in Child Advocacy. He hung his legal shingle right out of law school by opening his own Firm, now employing 6 lawyers plus support staff, and has been a trial attorney ever since in the areas of family, criminal, civil, and injury law. He also represents clients who are fighting for business and family survival in the era of COVID-19.

    Randy is a happily married family man now enjoying grandchildren with a third coming in November of 2020. He chairs the largest Tea Party group in Colorado and brings his God-fearing, country-loving, constitutional conservative Tea Party values to his new position as National Committeeman. The Forum meets on the second Saturday of every month from 9:00 am-11:00 am at Americans For Prosperity’s Colorado Office, 1305 West 121st Avenue, in Westminster.  Admission is $3 per person. Coffee and bottled water are included with your admission.  We’re unable to serve a continental breakfast due to COVID restrictions.
