• Adams County Residents,

Next Tuesday, the Adams County Board of Commissioners is holding a Special Public Hearing to consider banning oil and natural gas development throughout the county.

It’s vital that local Energy Nation members turn out and voice their opposition to such a misguided proposal. Here are the details:

Adams County Public Hearing on Oil and Gas Moratorium

    Tuesday, January 26
    6:30 p.m.
Please arrive by 5:15 for Public Comment Sign-Up

    Adams County Government Center
    1st Floor Public Hearing Room

    4430 S. Adams County Parkway
    Brighton, CO 80601

The hearing will include presentations by government officials, energy industry representatives, and activists opposed to energy development. As a member of the public, you’ll also have a chance to share your views. We encourage you to speak up—but please attend even if you don’t plan to comment.

As you know, oil and gas prices are down, and many energy companies are scaling back operations and laying off employees. Especially at this time, it would be terrible to impose new restrictions that threaten energy production and jobs.

Can you attend? Help us plan by RSVPing to brett@energynation.org. But please attend whether you RSVP or not. Thank you!
